The quickest way to activate your personal credit card is with your Online Banking ID and Passcode. If you didn’t select your PIN during your Card application process, you’ll receive a letter by post enclosing an auto generated PIN. For security reasons, this will be sent separately from your Platinum Card and should arrive within 10 business days of receiving your Card. If you want to change your PIN for something simpler to remember, it’s easily done at one of the 30,000 UK LINK cash machines. View your PIN online Forgotten your PIN? Log in to your Online Services Account to view it online. You will be required to enter your Customer Password, which is the 4-digit password used when calling Customer Services. You will have the opportunity to set up your Customer Password when activating your Card online. Card number and security code Your Card number is embossed on the front of your Card. ![]() The Card security code is an added security feature to help protect you against fraud. Your 4-digit security code can be found on the front of your Card, towards the right, and printed flat (unlike the Card number). You may be asked for this number during phone and online transactions. Customer Password Your Customer Password is a 4-digit code used to identify you when you call Customer Services and also to view your PIN online through Online Services.
